Pathways Seeks Dancers

Audition: Saturday, March 9th from 4:00-6:00 PM. PUSH Dance Company is offering dancers ages 18-26 a unique performance-opportunity called, Pathways during their residency at Bayview Opera House in San Francisco. This program is open to dancers of all styles/genres and is provided by PUSH and BVOH. All Candidates must pre-register by sending a resume and headshot no later than Friday, February 15th to info@pushdance.org, Subject line: Pathways.

Dancers must be available to rehearse and take part in all career coaching, marketing and technology tools activities. A stipend of $500 per participant is provided upon completion of the program. A Call-back audition is set for March 18th. Dancers will be asked to perform materials from Raissa Simpsonís Codelining 2.0 and must have the ability to collaborate with others. SF Dance Company Looking For Dancers--Open Call Posting

The Caroline Liviakis Dance Company based in San Francisco, CA, is looking for 2 female dancers to dance in 2 dance films to be submitted to dance film festivals both domestically and internationally. The films feature a highly theatrical and athletic movement style that is a fusion of jazz, Hip Hop, and Contemporary.

CLDC specifically needs dancers strong in Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, and/or Vogue and with the ability to use their face theatrically while dancing. Age range: 18-35.

CLDC will primarily consider dancers who attend company workshops and/or performances and who display an active interest in the company’s work and vision.

Dancers are paid small performance stipends.

Rehearsals are almost exclusively on Sundays.

Smuin Ballet offers 35-40 week competitive dancer contracts, presenting approximately 70 performances per season.

A staple of the San Francisco dance community for 25 years, Smuin pushes the boundaries of contemporary ballet within a distinctly American style, combining classical ballet training, technique, and artistry with uncommon physicality and expression. Recent repertoire includes works by: Michael Smuin (founder), Amy Seiwert, Jirí Kylián, Trey McIntyre, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, Helen Pickett, Val Caniparoli, Ma Cong, Garrett Ammon, Adam Hougland, Darrell Grand Moultrie and others.
