Ballet San Jose is looking
for men ages 21 and up to be Supernumeraries in this season's winter story ballet,
The Nutcracker. No previous dance experience required. If you can count music,
are able to run to a beat and jump on cue, then you would be perfect for the
ranks of the Super Men. We are looking for men that meet the following physical
requirements:
Chest Size: no larger than 44"
Height: no taller than 6'3"
Shoe Size: no larger than size 13
Must be physically able to run and jump

Ballet San Jose is looking
for two well-behaved Borzoi (Russian Wolfhounds) to be part of our season opener,
Giselle. The dogs will be walked onstage by a performer, walk in a circle, then
stand on stage during a scene. They need to be able to be walked by the performer,
comfortable around large groups of people and music, and possible applause from
the audience. The dogs will be needed for all performances and three rehearsals,
and the owner will be compensated with complimentary tickets to Giselle. The
owner must provide transportation for their dogs to and from the theater.
